Edgework is the process of shaping your glass edges. Bear Glass has the finest machines and crafts men to do the edgework that meets your standard. We offer the following standard edgework. If you want a custom edgework for your piece of glass or mirror, please contact us. This process enhances the appearance of the glass. The edges of the glass must always be processed before toughening. Edgework customizes products for table tops, counter tops or shelves. When a glass is cut it leaves a razor sharp edge on the top and bottom of the glass. The type of glass edgework that’s right for you depends on how your glass will be used, any surfaces on which it may be resting, & what appearance you like. High-quality glass edgework makes a finished product look timeless and elegant. Glass with this kind of craftsmanship can be utilized in various spaces.

Pencil polished edge glass in a Satin finish is the most common type of edgework on mirrors. We do it precisely. We provide our service in NY, NJ, Brooklyn, and all over the USA and Canada. Beveled edges can also be applied to any of edgework finishes. Where a bright highly polished finish is required on radius corners we use a dedicated specialist edging machine which enables consistently accurate profiling.
